Obituary of Clifford Wayne Money
With great sadness, we announce Cliff’s passing on September 4, 2023 at Heritage Life Personal Care Home in Niverville, Manitoba. After a lengthy illness, God has called Cliff home.
Left to cherish are his wife Colombe (Dove), his three children Bill (Cheryll), Kirt (Tara) and Wayne, his 4 grandchildren Kyle Kennedy, Bryce, Wylder and Evie, and 1 special granddaughter Dakota as well as his great-grandchild Quinton, hIs four brothers Clarence, Eric, Donny and Brian and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sid and Jean, his brother Ross and sister Audrey.
Cliff was born on March 23, 1944, in Barrie, Ontario. At the age of 16, he became a trucker delivering potatoes for his uncle. Later, he started trucking for Arnold Brothers across every state in North America.
Cliff and Colombe were married on April 23, 1979. They lived in Winnipeg. In 1983, they moved to Barrie, Ontario, where they lived for 40 years. They returned to Manitoba. in 2022.
Cliff's greatest pastime was singing Johnny Cash gospel music, attending church and fellowship with his Christian brothers and sisters. Cliff also loved everything and anything about travelling and trains. Gardening was another favourite pastime.
The family wishes to thank the Heritage Life Personal Care Home staff in Niverville, Manitoba, for their loving care. A short service and celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at the Daily Life Church Steinbach, 227 Main St. Steinbach, Manitoba.
