I have fond memories of Ethel while working at the Misericordia . She was very kind and understanding as I was just a new nurse. Always with a friendly smile, she was well liked by staff and patients. After we all retired, our group of nurses, Francoise, Linda, Carrie, Emily and myself continued to meet for lunches. Ethel often brought her most delicious butter tarts to share! Our last lunch together was just before Christmas, this time without Ethel. We shared some memories and all intend to honour Ethel one day in the summer wearing blue and eating blueberries. Rest in peace Ethel.
