Obituary of Aleksandra Maria Duda

A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Aleksandra Maria Duda left this world, at 33, on October 20, 2019.

Those who knew Aleksandra, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.She loved so many, and was loved by so many more.  She had an energy that with even just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life.Despite her illness, she was always positive, and wanted to help whoever she could.

Born in Poland on July 15, 1986 to Yvonne and Slawek Duda, Aleksandra moved to Winnipeg at the age of three.

Aleksandra was a lover of animals and enjoyed travelling, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with her family. She was funny, outgoing and spirited.

Aleksandra’s infectious smile, sense of humour, stubborness, yet loving and caring personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

When you think of Aleksandra, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Aleksandra leaves behind her husband Brett, daughter Odelia, parents, sister Marta and Marta’s husband, Darren, and their daughters, Mena and Mollie, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be heldon July 15, 2020.
