Dear Sue and family,
I am heartbroken for you all. I really cannot express how sorry I am for your loss.
Kerry was literally one of my first friends, as we were neighbours before we even started school. I have so many memories of biking around the neighbourhood, playing lawn darts and badminton, goofing around at the local playgrounds and Sandy Beach, and going to the ice cream shoppe. My most vivid image of Kerry is just of laughing and generally being silly. She could always put a smile on your face. Kerry was always so brave and outgoing. I remember watching with both amusement and terror as she’d try to do chin-ups or perform some other gymnastic feat on the bus home from school without the driver catching her. It was never a dull moment.
The years and miles have separated us, but I will never forget her friendship.
