Thank you to all mar’s family, we know you tried to help and she loved you for that. We’re happy the dogs, Bentley and Robbie are in good hands with Pearl, mar would have wanted nothing else. For us, losing a friend like mar is so very hard, friends like her just don’t come along. And we had so many years together, just wish we might have fit in one more trip together. we’ll miss you so much. Love, Susan/Terie Hamel

So sad…Marlene was one of my oldest and closest friends for almost 50 years, since we met at University of Winnipeg and found ourselves sharing a tent during archaeological digs at Southern Indian Lake. Even when we lived in different cities we always found excuses to meet up for Caribbean sojourns and Vegas trips at regular intervals. We had a lot of fun. She will be sorely missed. Our most sincere condolences to Mar’s friends and family.

Our sincere condolences to Mar’s family and friends. We have many good memories of spending time with Mar over the last 40 or so years. A friendship that started with going on bus trips to Fargo, grew to include celebrating birthdays and Boxing Day, attending dog shows and sharing many meals together. She will be sorely missed.
