Obituary of Pierrette Annette Cooper

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandma and great grandma, Pierrette Cooper, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Riverview Health Center in Winnipeg.

Pierrette was born in Chicoutimi, Quebec. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends, enjoyed golfing at Pinebrook, and watched all sports on television, especially tennis. She was an avid baker and cook and did enjoy an occasional dirty martini.

Pierrette was predeceased by her husband of 36 years Patrick Cooper; sons Wayne and Mark; daughter-in-law Shannon; and stepdaughter Susan.

Pierrette is fondly remembered by her son’s Alan and Gary (Laura); stepdaughter Jane; grandchildren Jordan (Jenna), Caitlin, Connor, Calli, Allana and Sarah; great grandchildren Caleb, Jack, Miles and Jude; numerous nieces and nephews in Quebec, as well as many great loyal friends in Thunder Bay, Calgary and Winnipeg.

May she rest in eternal peace knowing how deeply she was loved and respected.

Cremation has taken place, and as per Pierrette’s wishes there will be no formal service.

A private interment in Calgary will take place at a later date.
