Obituary of Joyce Ann McGregor

Surrounded by love and in the presence of family, Joyce Ann McGregor passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 70.

Joyce found happiness in getting to know everyone who crossed her path. Whether it was a neighboring child wanting to play with her cat Peaches or her local pharmacist, she always had a kind word to say and a smile.

Her love of knitting was only surpassed by her passion for watching sports. Joyce would never miss watching a Winnipeg Jets game on TV and nothing could tear her away from seeing her Pittsburgh Steelers play. This was a passion she shared with her sons that they will always cherish.

Joyce is survived by her children Scott (Inga) and David (Amanda); granddaughter Grace; sisters Betty (Larry) and Brenda (Rod); and brothers Larry (Teri) and Roy (Sandra). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Roy; her parents Roy Nordal and Doris Gardiner; sister Bernice and nephew Bryan.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor later this year. Details will be shared by the family at a later time.
