My sincere condolences to the family on Audrey’s passing.
I have many memories of our curling years at Thistle Curling Club. Audrey was our skip and we had many successful games at the club, in annual tournaments and in bonspiels, as well as being committee members with her at the Silver Broom.
Audrey always had something special planned for our curling team, like the summers she had us knitting matching sweaters, and of course adding our names on the back of the sweater which was a new trend. She was involved in so many other activities and reduced her curling to develop and run Bison Courier Service. We cheered and supported her award as YMCA Business Woman of the year in 1979 along with her many other accomplishments.
Rest in Peace Audrey. I’m sure you’re already organizing a super curling tournament in heaven!
A very special person, you will be missed.

My sincere condolences to all of Audrey’s family. I had the very good fortune to have her as my boss, mentor and good friend for over 10 years while at Bison Letter Lassie. She was wonderful to work for and with. We had many great times away from work as well. She was always trying to ‘fix me up’.
She was smart, kind and so fun to be with.
After I saw her at Gordie’s Celebration of Life
we went for lunch a few times and caught up on our lives after Bison. Even with all she had to contend with she handled her lot in life with such grace. Her illness hadn’t dimmed her spirit one bit. I was in awe of her. I will think of her often.
