Daughter of Charles and Ann Hallett, Barbara Ann Kerr, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Born on June 15, 1946, in Winnipeg, Barbara was a force of nature with an unbreakable spirit. She was easily described as a true warrior who faced life's challenges head-on.

Barbara's vibrant spirit and infectious energy lit up every room she entered. Her quick wit and one-liners never failed to bring joy and laughter to those around her. She was a natural-born leader, both in her personal and professional life. Her innate ability to guide and inspire others was unparalleled, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends. Whether in the home or the workplace, her leadership left an enduring legacy that continues to influence those she led.

Barbara was not only a leader but also an exceptional cook and baker. Her culinary skills brought everyone together. Infusing love into every dish she crafted, the memory of her delicious creations will forever linger.

She is survived by her loving children Gail (Leon), Russell (Allison), and Clifford. As well as Barbara's grandchildren, Paul, Marc (Katty), Matthew, Tayler (Clayton), Dylan, and Yael, were the light of her life, and her love for them knew no bounds. She also leaves behind her dear sisters Elaine (Robert) and Gail (Mike); her brothers Doug and Jack; and her aunts, Ina and Joyce whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to the nursing staff at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care of Barbara during her last days. Their kindness and support brought comfort to Barbara and her family during a difficult time.
