Obituary of Edward Raymond Klyne

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Eddy at his home in Winnipeg on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the age of 79 years.

Eddy grew up and attended school in the little town of Vassar, Manitoba, then later worked with his dad and brother in the logging industry. 

He enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, like wrestling, hockey, curling etc. 

Most of all he loved to call up his family members and friends on the phone to chat and make them laugh.

Eddy was the youngest of the three boys.

He will be missed by Norman (Kerri), sisters Evelyn, Louise (Phil) and Yvonne (Robert); and many nephews and nieces.

Eddy was precedeased by his parents Elie Klyne and Antoinette Hupe; his brother Willie; and brother-in-law Oscar.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elmwood Legion, 920 Nairn Avenue, Saturday, April 20, 2024 starting at 1:00pm (parking and entry are at the back of the building).
