Lately you had been messaging me routinely. I wish that we had met for a coffee, we werent always great friends these last few years, but i wont forget being a new mom with you and our girls being friends. We had some pretty great times and some fun memories even if we were just cleaning our houses and making the kiddos meals not even talking just with the phone on speaker. Hours upon hours of talking. Hope youre at peace.

I still can't believe you are gone. My memories with you are some of my favorites! From making tin foil tiaras, to getting matching Christmas gifts every year, to putting on plays, to making up dances, to singing karaoke, to spinning for hours on your tire swing, to us making a box cake mix when we were about 5 and 6 and not knowing you have to turn an oven on to bake it and serving everyone cake batter for dessert. I could go on and on and on but the main thing is that I am so sorry you are gone. I love you.

My dear baby cousin Rikki. I always wanted a little sister and you were the next best thing! We would spend so much time together listening to music, doing makeup, nails and watching all the cartoons we could find. I will forever cherish the summers I got to visit you, grandma Trachsel and the rest of the family. Mine and my families heart go out to all. We are going to miss you so much.

For our Sweet Rikki Jean...
The hole left in our hearts is immense. Taken just four days before your 34th birthday.
Although we didn't always see eye to eye the love we had was massive.
You had that tender and sweet side that was shown to so many. Not saying that the lion did not roar!
After you learned to dress yourself, that's when the multiple outfit changes per day came into play. Later on it was the hairdos and makeup and your favorite THE NAILS.
Once in a while you'd like to cook and make people's favorites, some being - apple crisp, perogies and bacon and onions, Ramen noodles, broccoli soup, Bannock. You loved hot spices and dill weed...in almost everything, apples dipped in ranch dressing, you thought it was AMAZING!!! and chips.
You loved taking dance classes and later on your freestyle performance at the high-school. Getting ready for drama night was always an exciting time.
Fishing for the big cats
Going to socials
Starbucks
Texting or talking or video chatting was high on your list.
You loved scary movies, romance, many other types, but your favorite were the Disney animated movies. And that is where your nickname came from "Tinkerbell" and the love for butterflies!
When asked what you wanted to call your new baby brother you said... Flower, from the movie Bambi.
You loved going over to Grandma Jean's house. Thick as thieves they say!!! Kept her company. The bond you two had was strong.
Later on it was your phone calls to Grandma Eleanor that you loved to make.
But your biggest and deepest love was held for your daughter Hailey "B" as you called her.
Once again your talent for Hair came out, you would do it up so nicely. Once in a while her nails and sometimes a little makeup on her.
You loved the rides behind the motorcycle with Dad starting out in a wagon tied to the motorcycle...without Mom's knowledge! Going to the neighbors on the quad in the summer and in the winter snowmobiles and tobaggons.
You and Dusty took great pride in getting cousins and neighbors kids on that darn tire swing spinning them so fast they would either cry or puke! Until they got used to it.
We all loved the camping trips up to Steeprock and the plays up on the stage all you kids would put on for us. Up at St.Ambroise beach with all those bugs, swimming, campfires and making those special banana boats and candy melts over the fire.
And now to recently going up to St.Ambroise, with myself (Mom) and Hailey. Sure gonna miss those sunset swims the three of us would have.
So Tinkerbell... find your butterflies and go for your sunset swim, Grandma Jean is waiting for you.
We love you and will always miss you, this wound will never heal.
Mom, Dad, Dusty

All those years of holidays and family birthdays at Grandma and Grandpa’s… we all saw so much of each other when we were young. I am so saddened and heartbroken for your family. Rikki Jean.
Such a sweet and meaningful name right from the start. Memories… riding into our yard with your Dad on the motorcycle, Proctor Christmas, Easter gatherings, January birthdays, always dressed up so cute, your own unique style as you grew up. A lifetime of memories spent together. We will always have love for you and your memory.
