Donald was my husband Peter friend and Donald quickly became a family friend! He knew our children and grandchildren. He spent many Christmas days with us and we always celebrated his birthday in august, either going out to casino for the afternoon or having a party here with dinner, cake and balloons ! Donald loved the apples from our tree in our backyard, he would always ask “are the apples ready yet” when they were he would come and pick bags of apples, I asked what he did with them, he would put them in pancakes, stew them and even put them in his soup!! Donald loved ice cream, when visiting him in hospital or nursing home would take him a vanilla milkshake. He loved it! And he loved his hats, seemed he always had a hat for different occasions. Rest high on that mountain Donald, your work on earth is done. We will miss you. Peter and Bev parke.
