To my mom my best friend:
Throughout your life you embodied :
LOVE, DETERMINATION, STRENGTH,DEDICATION and UNENDING LOYALTY in every form for your family and friends. The many hours spent cooking, filling that big freezer for entertaining family and guests. Creating crafts and giving with a generous heart as a labor of love to bring happiness and pleasure in peoples lives. Your love and taste for fashion inspired so many people. You were a wealth of beauty, knowledge, love and dedication for so many of us. That was the FUEL of life that held us all together. As matriarch of the family, you were a true legend.
I will be forever grateful to have had you as a mother and a true friend. The past 24 years in Manitoba allowed us to create memories with numerous concerts, trips, outings and just enjoying time together in our homes & at the farm. These memories will help me remember the special bond we had and will live forever in my heart till we meet again.
I love you forever Mom.
Doris

Hi Gramma, I know you were up there were watching over us when our beautiful baby boy was born! He came out perfect and Shabby is doing great. I'd like to formally introduce you to Kayhan Marcel Lachance. I know you were anxious to meet him so I wanted your memorial to be the the first place we publicly post a picture of him. As he grows up I'll make sure to tell him about all the great times we had together in Gravelbourg and Winnipeg. I will also make sure to teach him how to play cards quickly like you liked it & not keep people waiting.I'm happy you are no longer in pain and with grandpa, Ronald, Lorraine, Jeanine & all the rest of our family members and friends who have passed away. Thank you for being such a big part of my life. Love Kayhan Shabnam and Jean-Claude.

It was an honor to have had a mother in law that was so good to everyone. I got to know her really well by the trips we made to her home in Gravelbourg and then St. Boniface. We were always welcome and her food was always delicious. In return, our home was always open when she recovered from her many surgeries. She spent 3 1/2 months with us during the first wave of Covid outbreak. After 2 months we gave her a title and she would call her friends saying that she was the Queen of our home. She served so many during her lifetime that it was her turn to be served. We missed her a lot when she returned to her residence.
She will be remembered for her kindness and always asking the right question to initiate a conversation. We will sincerely miss her.

My beautiful mémère you will be so missed. The memories from Gravelbourg to Winnipeg will always be cherished and remembered fondly. Louie will especially miss dancing and making you laugh on zoom calls like we did this past year. You will be missed and forever loved.

We have been so blessed to have lived close to Grandma Rose for so long. Take note is that Grandma's hand with the rabbit ears above Xavier's head (or Genevieve's?). And as we know she loved to dress up (Christmas or Halloween). She was so much fun to be around. Big part of our lives!
