Our Condolences to Ed's family. May you feel surrounded by God's love and Peace in the days and weeks ahead.
I have not be in touch with Ed for many years, but always enjoyed chatting with him when we met. ( usually at family funerals) He was fun guy. He will be missed.

Our condolences to the family.
We will miss and always remember your comical sense of humour and our many phone calls and visits, especially the last one we had while you were in the hospital.
I will always cherish the memories we had from little on, and you will always hold a special place in my heart.
Until we meet again Uncle Ed.
May you Rest In Peace.
From your niece Brenda and her husband Henry

Our sincere condolences. May God comfort you as you remember and treasure the memories of your husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Somehow my memory of him for years was my Ontario cousin. To think he was the last of my Aunt Margaret Rempel Derksen family cousins. I remember our last chat about his
“ Mennonite” disease. It was always good to see him but unfortunately it was usually at funerals. Cousin Elma Friesen Friesen and Martin Friesen (Ed’s Aunt Nettie & Uncle Jake’s daughter from Gretna)

It is with great sadness to hear my Uncle Ed (my dad's brother) passed on. He was the last of the elders on my dad's side. Even if we know it's part of life; we are never ready to say goodbye forever
It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it is. I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later. So many regrets; should have called; should have made a trip to visit; should have sent a Christmas Card, Birthday card, etc. Rest in peace Uncle Ed, we know you are in a better place, and I know one day we shall meet again. Love from your Niece
