I remember when I went to meet Uncle Joe for the first time and I accidently walked on his oxygen tube and he pretended like he had no air at all and was pretending to gasp for air... I started to cry and then he started laughing. I'll miss you so much uncle Joe I'll miss your amazing sense of humor and you loving voice. Rest in peace uncle Joe

My Brother Joe always liked to go to Timmy’s for a steeped tea and old fashion donut.
He loved riding his scooter when he was able.
He was a huge part of my life and all my children.
Rest In Peace now Uncle Joe love Dizzy (Liz)

I remember when uncle Joe would come to my house on queen street before he went to work we would have tea before his shifts at Canada Bread. But I remember when he installed a door bell and one night the dang thing was going off like crazy and i called him cause i was so scared, so the uncle that he was came to my rescue and spent the night with to find out my door bell was on the same timer as a garage door opener down the back lane from me. We had ordered pizza and played crib to keep calm. That is the kind of man he was, others before himself . I love you always and forever! Your youngest niece Teeny (Tannys)

One of the greatest memories I have of Joe is when we were golfing. I was putting for eagle on a par 5, with a difficult lie. I was on top of the hill, and had to putt downhill with a break to the right. Took my time to read it, and has the ball was rolling Joe yelled out "turn, turn!!" and then it dropped in the hole. I also remember his passion for coca cola products, and brought him back a souvenir from Cuba as a vintage car with coca cola logos on it. We've golfed together, we've bowled together, and we've worked together at Canada bread. It was an honour and privilege to be a part of his life, and will always cherish these memories. Love you Joe, and rest easy in paradise.

I remember when Joe had his farm and his son Randy and our brother Barry were teasing the cows and Joe told them if they kept teasing the cows he was going to put the bull in the cow pen and wouldn't tell them when it was going to happen. One night they both went to tease the cows and that bull was right there in that pen, all Randy said was run that's a mean bull. Than Joe and Beth had a German Shepherd named Heidi she had just given birth to 7 puppies and Joe wrote a note on the door that said quiet nursing mother of 7 napping. lol. Joe had a great sense of humour and used it every chance he got. I'm going to miss you Joe rest easy. Love always from your little sister Tannys.
