Rest in peace Cuz. You were one of the kindest souls and one of my favorite cousins. A man in every sense of the word! I will always carry fond memories of you in my heart and the way you treated Chris and I was as younger brothers when we needed that kindness and love....you gave it to us!

Firstly, Myself, Bruce, and Family would like to send our heartfelt condolences to aunty Fran and family on the passing of uncle Gene. We had the blessing of visiting with you last summer as we took a family vacation up to Winnipeg. As always we were greeted with warm smiles from uncle Gene and aunty Fran along with wonderful treats at our visit. We had such a wonderful visit with you both. I remember looking back to see uncle Gene on his patio waving goodbye. You were always the most wonderful uncle. I spent many hours with you when I was just a wee one. You always had such great patience with me. One of my fondest memories was being down in the basement while you made purses and I would play on the old typewriter you had pretending I was a secretary. You always made my visits so much fun. Another fond memory I have is driving in the yellow car you called The yellow bird. I remember we went out for a drive and the song Kokomo came on the radio. I remember uncle Gene cranking the radio up and we sang at the top of our lungs. To this day when that song plays I think of you. Uncle Gene rest in peace, you have lived an amazing life. You will always be missed but it is now time for you to fly. Spread your wings among the skies. Love Carisa and family
