Obituary of Gene Frederick Matiation

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Gene on January 17, 2024 at the age of 83 years.

He is survived by his wife Fran, son Dave, daughter-in-law Chris, two grandsons Travis and Cory, sister Sylvia (Bill), niece Carisa (Bruce), great niece Shallon, three step-sons Wayne, Kevin (Karen), two grandchildren Kailey and Josh, Mark (Jody), numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws across Canada. 

He was predeceased by his father Michael and mother Stella, first wife Sandy, son Ronny, brother Murray, niece Nancy. 

Gene was an avid golfer and loved his NFL. Gene had a tremendous career as a salesman of home renovations in Winnipeg.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service.
